Building on FootJoy’s legacy of over 150 years, Snyder designed a capsule collection of polos, windbreakers, cardigans, shorts, joggers, caps, and golf shoes to complement the Brand’s existing leadership in the category with his own signature twist.

Snyder is no stranger to the game of golf. He grew up across the street from the Ballard Country Club in Huxley, Iowa. As a boy, he was fond of sneaking on the course after hours and playing a few holes—minus the greens’ fees.
For the designer, golf was also a way to spend quality time with family, further punctuating the nostalgia that runs through this collection.
“I was looking in the FootJoy archives at pictures of Arnold Palmer and Chi-Chi Rodriguez, and recognized this moment before performance fabrics took over when players had this effortless cool aesthetic that felt very relevant to right now,” says Snyder. “We are excited to collaborate with FootJoy on a wardrobe inspired by that golden era of golf, but for the modern guy who wants to maintain his personal sense of style when he hits the golf course.”
For over 150 years, FootJoy has remained committed to its principles of performance, quality, and innovation. FootJoy was among the first shoemakers to develop “left” and “right” shoes in the 1800’s and introducing the first membrane-free waterproof golf shoe. FootJoy offers full golf shoe customization and fundamentally changed the golf glove’s perception into a piece of performance equipment. They have led with innovation every step of the way.
Says Snyder, “When I was little, I caddied for my dad and my grandpa. I never had golf shoes until I was big enough to wear my dad’s, and he wore FootJoy. It was a rite of passage for me. It’s a brand that’s synonymous with the game, and I associate them with family time and comfort. I still remember how comfortable my dad’s shoes were.”
Earlier this year, FootJoy launched two new product lines, including Premiere Series, a collection of three styles equally committed to style and performance, for the discerning golfer. Upon introduction, they immediately became the shoe chosen by more players on the PGA Tour than any other, including style icons like Adam Scott, Ian Poulter, and Billy Horschel.
To build on this collection’s momentum, FootJoy x Todd Snyder was developed as an apparel line to complement the Premiere Series.
